First Act - Kierann Shah

Join improv disruptor Kierann Shah for her one-woman improvised stand up and sketch show, inspired by one word from the audience with no script. Awkward? Yes. Funny? Absolutely. Kierann is an improviser, actor and writer - and Artistic Director at the Bristol Improv Theatre.

Second Act - The Takeover Team

The Takeover Team is a mystery assortment of improvisers from the community who have assembled for just one show. That’s right, just one show. Catch them while you can, because if you miss them, you’ll never get to see them again!

Third Act - After Dusk

Filed mistakenly under E for Mystery: unscripted episodes of the television anthology known as The Twilight Zone. An improvised parody of the 1960s TV show that inspired Black Mirror. Accompanied by a live violinist, some of Bristol’s best improvisers create two brand-new episodes of the cult sci-fi classic. Suitable for all levels of nerdiness and Twilight Zone knowledge, including none!

About Bristol Longform Comedy - and what IS Longform Improv?

Bristol Longform Comedy is a performer-led, grassroots, community-driven collective committed to producing and supporting Longform Improvisation in Bristol. It’s a style of improv that has given us some of the world’s most famous sketch and improv comedians and takes elements of “shortform” improv (improv games that are quickly interchanged) to new and ridiculous heights.

Longform Improv creates a continuous, unscripted performance that unfolds in a series of interconnected sketches, full of wit, spontaneity, and surprising moments.
