Voice & Presence for Work
90-Minute Taster Session with 30 Minutes Networking
How you speak shapes how you’re heard.
This practical, interactive taster session introduces key tools from our Workplace Improv Public Speaking Training, designed to help professionals communicate with clarity, confidence and authenticity.
Drawing on techniques from acting and public speaking, we’ll explore how to:
- Strengthen and project your speaking voice
- Warm up effectively before meetings or presentations
- Use body language with intention
- Manage nerves and speak with greater ease
- Engage listeners through presence and authenticity
We’ll also break down charisma into practical, trainable skills: being present, relaxed and genuinely connected to your message - and to your audience.
The session is led by Aisha Ali (they/them), vocal artist, improviser and facilitator, and co-creator of Kiota, a Bristol-based collective working to decolonise arts spaces. Aisha is known for their calm, inclusive facilitation style and ability to create a supportive environment where participants feel safe to explore and grow.
As one participant shared:
“I really enjoyed the calm way Aisha held the space and playfulness… it was brilliant.”
Ideal for professionals looking to build confidence in meetings, presentations and leadership settings.
