Known for her infectious enthusiasm, sharp wit and radically supportive teaching style, she creates spaces where performers feel safe enough to take real risks — and have a lot of fun doing it.

About the Instructor:

Monica Gaga is a British-born Black African queer host, improviser, facilitator, maker, and performer. With over 15 years of experience performing and hosting, and over 20 years of improvising, Monica brings bold energy, sharp wit, and radical joy to every stage she steps on.

A regular with the legendary ‘Comedy Store Players’, Monica is a cast member and producer of ‘HELL YEAH!’, a bold and brilliant queer improv collective. She’s also a cast member of ‘Do The Right Scene’—hailed by Time Out as “theatre that thinks”—and one half of the feminist comedy duo ‘Derek’s Mojo’.
